Later in the evening, Monte Miki the Always B Miki - Montenegro colt - after being subjected to sustained pressure from Beach Glass - sealed a 1:53.2 win over sloppy going.
On the following day, Perfect Sting (Always B Miki - Shebestingin) became a two-time Breeders champion after edging clear of pacesetter Charlie May in the final sixteenth of Saturday’s Crown final for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings.
